Equipment
Two equipment lines, one way of working. Complete locomotive units for EMD, ALCO and GE fleets, outright or on exchange. Oilfield and process equipment sourced to your datasheet. Both inspected before packing, documented for the tender file and shipped from Canada.

Locomotive equipment
Whole units rather than part numbers: the traction motor, the turbocharger or the engine itself, supplied when a rebuild in your own shop is not the answer. Remanufactured units come from rebuilders we have audited, with test reports; exchange programmes return a core credit; serviceable units are inspected and documented before they leave Canada.
Oil and gas equipment
Project supply, not catalogue supply. Wellhead equipment, valves, pumps, compressors, rig parts, filtration, vessels and instrumentation sourced against your datasheet, consolidated at Concord and shipped with the document pack your destination requires.

Who buys equipment through Simor
Railways, workshops and mining operators whose fleet needs a complete unit faster than their own shop can rebuild one. Operators and EPC contractors in the Middle East, North Africa, South America and Central Asia who need North American equipment without a North American procurement office. Drilling contractors keeping older rigs in service after the builder stopped supporting them.
What they have in common is a datasheet or a nameplate, a deadline and a document requirement. We source against the datasheet, quote with the documents priced in, inspect before packing and ship on the Incoterm they choose.
You issue a specification or a schedule of requirements; we return a compliant, line by line quotation in your format with the certificates listed against each item. For frameworks we agree fixed lead time bands, a consolidation cadence and a named counterpart.
Typical buyers: national and regional railways, government tender authorities, EPC contractors.
You send part numbers, a spreadsheet or a photo of the list; we verify, quote within two working days and ship on your Incoterm. Simple courier orders can arrive in one week depending on destination.
Typical buyers: workshops, mines, ports, marine operators, trading houses.
A defined scope with milestones: overhaul kits, a fleet reliability programme, an equipment package for a plant. One project engineer, weekly reports, expediting and inspection built in, invoicing against milestones.
Typical buyers: operators planning an overhaul, EPC procurement leads, asset owners without an OEM contract.
Questions we are asked
- What is the difference between equipment and parts on this site?
Equipment is a complete unit or a package: a traction motor, a turbocharger, an engine, a valve schedule, a filter vessel. Parts are the component part numbers inside them, listed in the parts catalog. Both are quoted the same way, within two working days.
- Do you supply OEM or equivalent?
Both, and we state which on every line. Equivalents come from API or ISO qualified manufacturers and are warranted for material and workmanship.
- Can you quote a complete package from one specification?
Yes. Send the datasheets and the delivery point; we propose sources and lead times per item and quote the package delivered.
- Do you inspect before shipment?
Yes, against the specification, with photographs, before the case closes. Third party witness inspection is arranged where the project requires it.
Send the nameplate or the datasheets and the delivery point; we come back with sources, lead times and a quotation.

Most of what we source never appears online. Add part numbers to your quote list or upload your document and we will quote every line, listed or not.
