Logistics and export

EXW to DDP, air, sea or courier: packing, freight and export documents handled from our warehouse in Concord, Ontario, with one contact from departure to your depot, port or site.

What you receive

  • Incoterm and route stated on the quotation: EXW, FCA, CIF, DAP or DDP; air, sea or courier.
  • Export packing: crates and pallets built for the route, moisture protection, case marks and photographs before closing.
  • Documents ahead of the goods: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and any certificates.
  • Consolidation of mixed orders into one consignment with one document pack.
  • Tracking to delivery and answers to your customs broker's questions from one contact.

How the work runs

  1. Route on the quotation. Weight, urgency and destination decide air, sea or courier; the Incoterm you choose sets who does what.
  2. Packing and marking. Built at Concord for the route, marked to your standard, photographed before the case closes.
  3. Documents first. The full pack is emailed before departure so clearance can be prepared.
  4. Tracking to delivery. One contact until the goods are signed for at your depot, port or site.

Choosing the route

Gaskets, seals, injectors, small assemblies. Door to door in days; DDP where duties are predictable. Best for urgent items and samples.

Power assemblies, turbochargers, cylinder heads, tooling. Airport to airport or to door; the balance of speed and cost for overhaul critical items.

Overhaul kits, bulk consumables, equipment packages. LCL or FCL from Toronto or Montreal; planned around your maintenance schedule.

A standing arrangement: urgent by courier, everything else held and shipped on a cadence, one document pack per consignment.

Why Canada

Location. Toronto is a day from the US Midwest by road, has direct air cargo to Asia, Europe and the Middle East, and container service through Montreal and Halifax. Our warehouse sits beside one of Canada's largest rail yards.

Compliance. Canadian export controls are applied to every request before quotation, so a destination under review is told at the quotation stage, never after payment. Certificates of origin are issued by the local chamber of commerce.

Packing standard

Heat treated timber, moisture barrier, desiccant, shock protection for machined faces, case marks in your format.

Document pack

Invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, certificates, and any legalisation your destination requires.

Export compliance

Screened before quotation; see our export compliance page for how destinations are handled.

Questions we are asked

Which Incoterm should we choose?

EXW or FCA if your forwarder has a Toronto office; CIF or DAP if you want one price to your port or door; DDP where duties are predictable and you want no surprises.

Can you ship to our freight forwarder?

Yes. FCA to their Toronto or Montreal facility is the most common arrangement for railways with framework forwarding contracts.

What about heavy or oversized items?

Traction motors, engine blocks and equipment skids go by sea on flat racks or in open tops; we quote the route with the item.

Tell us the destination and the deadline; the route and the Incoterm appear on the quotation.
