GE locomotive parts
GE's FDL four stroke engine family, in 8, 12 and 16 cylinder form, powers locomotives in service on every continent, including large export fleets in Asia, Africa and Latin America. As those fleets age, keeping them in service depends on a supply of FDL parts that the original channel no longer prioritises.
Simor supplies parts for 7FDL and FDL-16 engines: power assemblies, cylinder heads, liners, pistons and rings, fuel injection equipment, turbochargers, bearings, gaskets and seals, and the electrical and control items around the engine. Each line is quoted as genuine, remanufactured or a qualified alternative, with lead time and origin.
