Terms of supply
The terms that apply to quotations and supply from Simor Industrial Solutions Ltd. unless a signed contract says otherwise.
Quotations
- A quotation states its validity, currency, Incoterm and the condition of each part: genuine, remanufactured or qualified alternative.
- Prices exclude taxes, duties and charges at destination unless the Incoterm includes them.
- Lead times are stated per line and start from receipt of an order and any agreed advance payment.
Orders and payment
- An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing. Payment terms are as stated on the quotation; standard terms are advance payment or letter of credit for new accounts.
- Title passes on full payment; risk passes according to the Incoterm.
Delivery and inspection
- We pack for export and ship on the agreed Incoterm. Documents are sent before departure.
- Please inspect on receipt and report shortages or damage within 7 days with photographs.
Warranty
- Genuine parts carry the manufacturer's warranty where one exists. Remanufactured and qualified alternative parts carry a Simor warranty against defects in material and workmanship for 12 months from delivery or 6 months from installation, whichever is earlier, limited to repair, replacement or refund of the part.
- The warranty does not cover wear, misuse, incorrect installation or operation outside the manufacturer's limits.
Export compliance and governing law
- All supply is subject to Canadian export controls and sanctions; see export compliance. We may decline or delay an order pending permits or end user confirmation.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
