Export compliance
We supply where Canadian law permits, and we check before we quote. This page explains how.
Simor Industrial Solutions Ltd. is a Canadian company. Every quotation we issue and every shipment we make is subject to Canadian law, including the Export and Import Permits Act, the Special Economic Measures Act, the United Nations Act and the regulations made under them, as well as the sanctions and export control laws of the countries our goods pass through.
What we do
-
1
Screening before quotation
The destination country, the end user and the end use are checked against the current Canadian sanctions lists and the Export Control List before a price is issued.
-
2
Review where needed
Requests that need a permit, an end use certificate or further review are told so at the quotation stage, never after payment.
-
3
End user information
For destinations under review we may ask for the end user's name and address, a statement of end use and a no re export undertaking.
-
4
Supply where permitted
A quotation may be conditional on a Canadian export permit; delivery times then include the permit process.
Where we do not supply
We do not quote or ship where Canadian law prohibits it, including to sanctioned persons and entities and to destinations under comprehensive Canadian sanctions. We do not take part in transactions designed to circumvent sanctions, and we decline requests where the end user cannot be identified.
Send us your part numbers
Most of what we source never appears online. Add part numbers to your quote list or upload your document and we will quote every line, listed or not.
