Quality and documentation
Certificates and traceability are priced into every quotation, not offered as extras. Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 by BSI, and every order runs through the same controlled steps.
What you receive
- Certificate of conformance signed by Simor for every shipment.
- Material certificates, test reports and certificates of origin as listed on your tender, collected and checked before dispatch.
- Inspection record against the order before packing, with photographs.
- Traceability from quotation to shipment on one reference number, retrievable on request.
- Non conformance handling on record: what was found, what was done, what changed.
How the work runs
- Requirements captured at quotation. The documents your tender lists are itemised and priced on the quotation, line by line.
- Supplier qualification. Sources are evaluated and approved before we buy; a supplier with an open non conformance is not used until it is closed.
- Receiving inspection at Concord. Goods are checked against the order and the specification; photographs are taken; documents are matched to items.
- Release and dispatch. The document pack is emailed ahead of the goods; the certificate of conformance is signed against the inspection record.

Quality management system certified by BSI
An independent auditor has checked that our procedures exist, are followed and are improved, and checks again at every surveillance audit. For a procurement team it means the things a tender asks for are controlled procedures with records, not promises.
- Supplier evaluation and approval before purchase
- Verification of every part number against the application
- Receiving inspection with records and photographs
- Traceability on one reference per order
- Non conformance and corrective action on record
- Management review of customer feedback
- Certification body
- BSI (British Standards Institution)
What inspection means here
Every consignment is opened at Concord before it is packed for export. Part numbers are checked against the order, quantities counted, condition compared with the quotation line, and documents matched to the items they cover. Photographs are taken before the case closes and sent with the shipping notice. When something is wrong it is recorded, resolved with the supplier and reported to you, with the case held until it is right.
Manufacturer's documentation supplied as received and checked for consistency with the item; certificate of conformance signed by Simor on top.
Record of what was replaced, test result, and Simor warranty of 12 months from delivery or 6 months from installation stated on the certificate.
Verification record describing what was checked against the application; the same Simor warranty; the condition stated on the quotation, the invoice and the certificate.

Questions we are asked
- Can we audit you?
Yes. Second party audits at Concord are welcome by arrangement, and the ISO 9001 certificate is available for your vendor file.
- Do you supply third party inspection?
Yes, where the tender requires it: an independent inspector witnesses at Concord or at the supplier, and the report joins the document pack.
- What happens when a part fails in service?
The warranty claim is handled on record: evidence, analysis, decision and replacement, with a written close out.
Tell us which documents your tender requires; we price them in and show them on the quotation.

Most of what we source never appears online. Add part numbers to your quote list or upload your document and we will quote every line, listed or not.
