Project management and advisory
From overhaul planning to procurement strategy, managed end to end: a defined scope, a sourcing plan, expediting and inspection, and delivery to milestones with one project engineer accountable for the result.
What you receive
- Project charter: scope, assets, milestones, budget envelope and the decisions that are yours to make.
- Sourcing plan: every item mapped to a source, lead time and certificate requirement, with alternatives where risk is high.
- Weekly status report: progress against milestones, open issues, decisions needed, photographs from suppliers and from Concord.
- Inspection and expediting records at each milestone, and a consolidated document pack at shipment.
- Close out report with the as delivered list, warranties and the spares recommendation for the next cycle.
How the work runs
- Define. A scoping workshop with your operations and procurement leads produces the charter and the milestone plan.
- Source. Items are specified and sourced against the plan; long lead items first, with alternatives held in reserve.
- Expedite and inspect. Suppliers are followed weekly; goods are inspected against the specification at Concord or at the supplier with photographs.
- Deliver. Consolidated shipments on your Incoterm, documents ahead of the goods, and support through installation and commissioning.

Why procurement leads bring us in
The OEM will not engage. Fleets outside the builders' priority markets get long lead times, minimum orders and little technical support. We give the same fleet an engineering literate counterpart in Canada.
The tender needs a technical author. A schedule written by someone who has supplied the parts is answerable, comparable and hard to challenge.
The budget is fixed, the scope is not. A sourcing plan with alternatives lets you keep the programme moving when one item slips.
Nobody owns the whole chain. Between the parts supplier, the freight forwarder and the workshop, things fall through. One project engineer closes the gaps.

Close out
As delivered list, warranties, lessons and the next cycle's spares recommendation.
You issue a specification or a schedule of requirements; we return a compliant, line by line quotation in your format with the certificates listed against each item. For frameworks we agree fixed lead time bands, a consolidation cadence and a named counterpart.
Typical buyers: national and regional railways, government tender authorities, EPC contractors.
You send part numbers, a spreadsheet or a photo of the list; we verify, quote within two working days and ship on your Incoterm. Simple courier orders can arrive in one week depending on destination.
Typical buyers: workshops, mines, ports, marine operators, trading houses.
A defined scope with milestones: overhaul kits, a fleet reliability programme, an equipment package for a plant. One project engineer, weekly reports, expediting and inspection built in, invoicing against milestones.
Typical buyers: operators planning an overhaul, EPC procurement leads, asset owners without an OEM contract.
Questions we are asked
- How do you charge for project management?
A fixed project fee tied to the charter, invoiced by milestone, separate from the goods. Goods are quoted at the same terms as any direct order.
- Can you work with our existing suppliers?
Yes. We expedite and inspect whatever the sourcing plan says, including suppliers you nominate.
- Do you supervise installation?
By arrangement, with your workshop or a partner shop. Commissioning support is scoped in the charter where it is needed.
Send the scope, the asset list and the date; we reply with a charter proposal.
